FAQs
What can I expect in my first session?
Your first session is all about getting to know you. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what you’d like to get out of it, and any questions you may have. It’s a chance for you to share at your own pace and for us to begin building a safe, supportive connection.
How long are sessions?
Individual therapy sessions are typically 50 minutes. Group therapy sessions may run a bit longer, often 60–75 minutes, depending on the group’s focus.
How often will I need therapy?
That depends on your goals and needs. Some people come weekly, others biweekly, and some only during certain seasons of life. We’ll work together to find a rhythm that feels right for you.
Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes. I offer both in-person and virtual sessions, giving you the flexibility to choose what feels most comfortable and accessible.
Is therapy confidential?
Yes. What you share in therapy stays private. The only exceptions are rare situations where I’m legally required to act to protect your safety or the safety of others. We’ll review these limits together so you feel clear and comfortable.
How do I know if therapy is right for me?
If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or like you’ve lost touch with yourself, therapy can be a powerful step toward healing. You don’t need to have it all figured out before starting—that’s what therapy is for.
What issues do you work with?
I work with adults navigating anxiety, grief, life transitions, stress, and self-esteem challenges. Whether your struggles feel big or small, you’re welcome here.
