Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect in my first session?

The first therapy session is a starting point. We’ll discuss what’s been going on, your goals for therapy, and any relevant history. I’ll ask questions to better understand your needs, and we’ll talk about what ongoing support could look like.

How long are sessions?

The initial therapy session is 90 minutes. Ongoing individual therapy sessions are 50 minutes.

Group sessions are 60 minutes.

How often will I need therapy?

That depends on your goals and needs. Some people come weekly, others biweekly or monthly, and some only during certain seasons of life. We’ll work together to find a rhythm that feels right for you.

Do you offer virtual sessions?

At this time, we exclusively offer virtual sessions, giving you the flexibility to choose the time and place that feel most comfortable and accessible.

Is therapy confidential?

Yes. What you share in therapy stays private. The only exceptions are rare situations where I’m legally required to act to protect your safety or the safety of others. We’ll review these limits together so you feel clear and comfortable.

How do I know if therapy is right for me?

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or like you’ve lost touch with yourself, therapy can be a powerful step toward healing. You don’t need to have it all figured out before starting; that’s what therapy is for.

What issues do you work with?

I work with adults who feel a disconnect between how life looks on the outside and how it feels on the inside. Many clients come in feeling anxious, burned out, lonely, or stuck, even when things appear stable or successful.

This often includes anxiety, grief, life transitions, stress, self-esteem concerns, and difficulty navigating internal conflict or change.
